Biography

My name is Craig Damon. I am a student in the Computer Technology
department at Southern Maine Community College. I also have my
Associate's Degree in Business Administration.

I first became a student at SMCC to learn more about operating a small
business. My mother had recently opened a specialty toy store and it
peaked my interest. As I worked at the store, I attended school full-time
and learned many marketing strategies to help shape the image of the
business. As time went on, I have became increasingly interested in the
online aspect of the business.

Starting in the Fall of 2009, I entered the CTech program at SMCC to
learn about building and maintaining websites as well as furthering my
knowledge of computers. I have since learned about basic computer
maintenance, networking, programming, HTML scripting, PHP
scripting, and databases.

I believe that these tools that I have aquired as a CT student will mesh
well with my background in business and will help me build fully
fuctioning websites that are also marketed well.

Enjoy life and the world around you.

I need a career that
I will enjoy and that will have the flexibility I need to get out and enjoy
nature.

I believe a career in building websites for small businesses will allow me
to do that.
